Calgary Olympic park was host to this years Canadian Championships. The finals consisted of four Canadian National Team members including Davey. Out of the gate Nick Zorcic took the hole shot and led for ¾ quarters of the course. Zorcic was unable to fend off an advance from Davey who drafted Zorcic and was able to sling shot past over a step up feature. It looked as though Davey would take the win, however, across the bottom flats teammate Dave Duncan, gained enough momentum to make a last second pass and hold on through the finish.
